ABOUT US

Sustainability.

Our sustainability philosophy

For us, sustainability is more than just a trend or a fixed idea - it is a deep commitment to the environment, the future and a conscious lifestyle.

However, we are aware that we operate in an industry that involves flights, consumption and resource-intensive conditions. It is therefore all the more important to examine every detail carefully and to create a balance for every resource consumed. We constantly strive to find alternatives with reusable materials and critically question whether the cost justifies the benefit.

Events play a central role in our business, because personal exchange and emotional experiences are crucial for successful communication. Communication is our passion and our strength - it is at the heart of our business. That is why our sustainability strategy focuses on communication, which is reflected in all aspects of our actions and business activities.

We use our communication skills to promote sustainability - not only in dialog with our partners, but also within our company. Our aim is for every employee to integrate the principles of professional sustainability into their private lives and see the goals as personal added value for themselves and their environment.
We are not just interested in concrete measures such as cycling instead of driving or separating waste, but rather in developing a lasting sustainable awareness that has a positive impact on everyday life.

SDG Engagement

Climate change, social challenges and global conflicts determine our everyday social and political lives.

However, these global challenges also highlight the way forward for change. They call on us to examine our thoughts and actions and offer a platform for global solidarity in the fight for a better future.
Against this backdrop, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the 2030 Agenda in September 2015 with the “Sustainable Development Goals” (SDGs) was launched.

As a wide-ranging agency with eight offices in the DACH region, we are committed to the 17 goals of ecologically, economically and socially sustainable development. We see it as our task to actively contribute to the transformation towards a fairer, more sustainable world. With a strong focus on transparent and sustainable communication, we concentrate in particular on the following goals 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 17.

Certifications and awards

Since July 2018, we have been the proud holders of the internationally recognized GSTC-Zertifikats, which was created under the umbrella of the UN and defines guidelines for sustainable tourism.

It is one of the most trustworthy and credible certifiable standards in this area.
GSTC has enabled us to create a framework that allows us to strategically and sustainably align and develop our company both internally and externally, across all locations.

We are aware that sustainability is an ongoing process and we are committed to living it in all areas of the company. Key issues include effective sustainable tourism planning, maximizing social and economic benefits for the local population, preserving cultural heritage and minimizing negative environmental impacts. We were successfully re-certified in 2023.

Ecological and social responsibility

In the social area, our focus is on our company's most valuable asset: our employees. Employees.

Our responsibility is to create a sustainable working environment, understand the needs of our employees and ensure that their values are aligned with those of our company.
We promote respectful interaction with one another, offer support with pension provision and enable the purchase of job tickets.

We are committed to environmental protection on a daily basis in all offices and areas. We give preference to regional suppliers, use sustainable means of transportation and have established an efficient system for reusing signage.

Since 2019, we have been using digital briefings for our guides and hostesses, which has led to a significant reduction in our paper consumption. As part of our GSTC certification, we support three ecological and social projects to offset our CO2 emissions: NABU Berlin, the German Life Bridge against child poverty and the SORCE organization for the protection and cultivation of mangroves and coral trees in Indonesia.
