The best things to do in Rostock are heavily influenced by the city’s proximity to the Baltic Sea. There is even a bit of Scandi vibes in this medieval student-friendly city. Both Hamburg and Berlin are nearby and can be reached in approx. 2 hours but there are also plenty of Mecklenburg attractions such as the world heritage sights Wismar and the fairy tale castle of Schwerin.
